Our mission?

To make complex ecological stories accessible, engaging, and relevant to younger audiences. We do this by combining genres and applying creative storytelling approaches in our projects. This way, we are able to reach young audiences and spark curiosity, and foster a lasting connection with the natural world.

We are constantly thinking about new stories and ways to create natural-history films. Jura, the director of the organization, aims to push wildlife film to a new level by finding new ways of storytelling in writing, being in the field, as well as in post-production.

Bottom-up storytelling

We strive for collaboration with local makers, producers, and communities to tell stories from the bottom up.

Nature first

We always put nature first. We find it very important to create wildlife film in natural settings, with no disturbance to the natural behavior of the species. We approach films from the perspective of the animal and the ecosystem, placing nature, not the filmmaker, at the center.

Sustainability

Minimizing ecological footprint by making sustainable choices in transportation, materials, and energy use.

Accessibility

We want our films to be understandable for a broad audience, including children. We make an effort to use accessible storytelling and involve our different target audiences in the process.
